We are strongly committed to protecting personal data. This privacy statement describes why and how
we collect, process and use personal data and provides information about individual’s rights in
relation to personal data. It applies to personal data provided to us, both by individuals
themselves or by others. We may use personal data provided to us for any of the purposes described
in this privacy statement or as otherwise stated at the point of collection.
You have been given access to this Application solely in connection with your role at your
organization (your organization). You may be a partner, member or employee of your organization or
you may be a contractor engaged by your organization to provide it with services. Your employment or
other agreement with your organization regarding your role applies to your use of this Application.
Definitions
In this privacy statement we use the following terms:
Application refers to Navigate E-Invoicing.
Personal data or personal information is how we refer to information about you or information
that identifies you as “personal data” or “personal information”.
Processing is how we refer to the handling, sharing, processing, protecting or storing of
your personal data. We process personal data in this Application for numerous purposes, as set out
below.
Definition of “Us”, “we” and “our”
As used in this privacy statement, “us”, “we” and
“our”
refers to the PwC network and/or one or more of its Member Firms that may process your personal
information. Each Member Firm in the PwC network is a separate legal entity.

Processing of personal data
Our policy is to process only the personal data that we need and be transparent about why and how we
process personal data.
The personal data processed by us in relation to this Application are:
Information about you when you use this Application, for example, logs of your activities (for example, when you signed in and signed out, when you upload or view a document, or when you post comments); logs and text you post in a comment, or logs showing what information you shared information, etc..
You may choose to provide additional information when you use this Application, including any content you contribute.
We do not intend to process special categories of personal information through this Application and no special categories of personal information are required for this Application to operate. Special categories of personal information include race or ethnic origin; political opinions; religious or philosophical beliefs; trade union membership; physical or mental health; genetic data; biometric data; sexual life or sexual orientation; and criminal records. We ask that you not provide information of this nature about yourself or anyone else via this Application.

Use of personal data
When you provide personally identifiable information to us, we use it for the purposes for which it was provided to us as stated at the point where the personal data is ingested into the Application. We may also use your data in order to administer and manage the Application or to communicate with you in relation to the Application and get notifications or updates. The Application does not store personally identifiable information for dissemination or sale to outside parties for consumer marketing purposes, or host mailings.
We may use your personal information for any of the purposes described in this privacy statement, as stated at the point of where the personal data is ingested into the Application, including complying with any requirements of law, regulation or a professional body of which we are a member. As with any provider of professional services, we are subject to legal and regulatory obligations. We need to keep certain records to demonstrate that our services are provided in compliance with those obligations and those records may contain personal data.
Security
We have implemented a generally accepted standard of technology and operational security in order to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. Only authorised persons are provided access to personal information; such individuals have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of this information. Although we use appropriate security measures once we have received your personal data, the transmission of data over the internet (including by e-mail) is never completely secure. We endeavor to protect personal data, but we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to or by us.

We may share personal data with other PwC Member Firms where necessary in connection with the purposes described in this privacy statement, to the extent permitted by law. For example, when providing professional services to a client we may share personal information with PwC Member Firms in different territories that are involved in providing advice to that client.
Third Party Providers
We may transfer or disclose the personal data shared with us, to third party contractors,
subcontractors, and/or their subsidiaries and affiliates, to the extent permitted by law. Third
parties support the PwC Network in providing its services and help provide, run and manage IT
systems. Examples of third party contractors we use are providers of identity management, website
hosting and management, data analysis, data backup, security and cloud storage services. The servers
powering and facilitating our IT infrastructure are located in secure data centres around the world,
and personal data may be stored in any one of them.
The third-party providers may use their own third party subcontractors that have access to personal data (sub-processors). It is our policy to use only third-party providers that are bound to maintain appropriate levels of security and confidentiality, to process personal information only as instructed by us, and to flow those same obligations down to their sub-processors.

Retention of personal data
To the extent that we process your personal data as a data fiduciary, we shall, unless retention is necessary for compliance with any law for the time being in force, erase personal data upon you withdrawing your consent, or as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the specified purpose is no longer being served, whichever is earlier. Furthermore, you also have the corresponding right to ask for such erasure, unless retention of the same is necessary for the specified purpose or for compliance with any law for the time being in force.

The words "you" or "your" below include (as appropriate to the context) the entity on whose behalf you are entering into this Agreement. If you do not agree to be bound by this Agreement in its entirety, please do not click on the link and you will not be permitted access to the Integrated Accounts Payable Engine Tool (the “Solution”).
The Solution is provided by PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Limited, an Indian private limited company, incorporated under the laws of India, having registered office at Plot No. Y-14, Block EP, Sector V, Salt Lake Electronics Complex, Bidhannagar, Kolkata - 700091 (“PwC” or “we/us/our”), pursuant to an engagement letter for rendering professional services entered into by and between PwC and [insert the name of the Corporate Client] (the “Engagement Letter”). For avoidance of doubt, it is clarified that the services provided by PwC under the Engagement Letter are provided solely and exclusively to [insert the name of the Corporate Client] and not to you.
In this Agreement, a "PwC Entity" is any entity (other than PwC) which carries on business under a name which includes all or part of the PricewaterhouseCoopers name, is a direct or indirect affiliate or subsidiary of a PricewaterhouseCoopers entity or is otherwise within (or associated or connected with an entity within) or is a correspondent firm of the worldwide network of PricewaterhouseCoopers firms, where “entities” or an “entity” includes partnerships, firms, corporations or other entities wherever located each of which entity is a separate legal entity. Unless otherwise indicated either expressly or by the context, the word “partner” is used to describe a member of a PwC Entity in their capacity as such.
The access to the Solution is being provided to you on behalf of your entity in order to help [insert the name of the Corporate Client]. This Agreement only governs your use of the Solution - it does NOT govern any professional services being provided by PwC to you. Any terms and conditions related to PwC providing such services are the subject of the Engagement Letter. Your access to and use of the Solution, each time you access them, are subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility, Registration and Use of the SolutionYou agree to use any confidential information in the Solution only for the purposes for which it was provided, and not to disclose it, except where required by law or regulation. PwC may, in relation to the agreed purposes, provide confidential information to PwC Entities or relevant contractors.
6. Data ProtectionConsent Notice
1.1 This consent notice (‘Notice’) is to inform you of how we, [PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Limited relevant PwC entity which is collecting the personal data], want to process your personal data, so that you may give your informed consent.
1.2 We will only collect, hold, store and process, both electronically and physically, as much personal data as is necessary for the purposes mentioned in this Notice. The personal data will not be used for any other purpose except to the extent we need to use it for any other purpose which falls within certain legitimate uses as prescribed under applicable laws including fulfilling any obligation under applicable law.

1.3 You confirm that to the extent you provide any personal data of any other person, they or (in the case of persons below 18 years of age or persons with disability) their parent or lawful guardian, as applicable, have communicated their free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous consent (in terms of Clause 1.2 above) to our processing of their personal data (as contemplated by this Notice), by clear affirmative action and have duly authorized you to communicate such consent to us. Where you are the parent or guardian of such other person, you consent to the processing of the personal data of such persons for the purposes contemplated in this Notice.
1.4 We will process your personal data and other data attributes till the purposes mentioned are served, as specified below:

1.5 As part of a global network of PricewaterhouseCoopers firms (each of which is a separate legal entity), we exchange or may need to exchange personal data within the network or with other overseas service providers/contractors working and acting on our behalf. As a result, we may transfer personal data outside India to other countries whose privacy laws provide different levels of protection. We may also use overseas facilities to process, host or back up the personal data. As a result, we may need to transfer personal data to our overseas facilities for these purposes. However, any such personal data transferred shall be subject to appropriate data protection obligations and requirements under applicable law. You hereby consent to the transfer, storage and processing by us, our agents, contractors, subcontractors or other PricewaterhouseCoopers firms, of such personal data within or outside India in accordance with the above.

1.7 You can withdraw your consent for processing of your personal data at any time, signified by your clear affirmative action by raising your request here. In the event you continue to have any grievance in relation to the processing of your personal data or your rights, you may submit your request at in_privacy.in@pwc.com.. If you do so, your personal data will be erased, unless there is any legal requirement to retain it.
In case you choose to subsequently withdraw your consent, the consequences of such withdrawal shall be borne by you, and such withdrawal shall not affect the legality of processing of the personal data based on your consent prior to such withdrawal.
1.8 You confirm that that you have not suppressed any material information while providing your personal data.
